- I was born in the Berkshire village of Knowl Hill and studied at the
Berkshire College of Art (NDD)
- In 1970 I started designing and screen printing fabric for the Landmark
Trust, a building preservation trust
- During 1978 and 1979 I taught at Clarefield Court School for children
with learning difficulties
- From 1979 to 1984 I was General Assistant with special responsibility
for the Art and Craft Curriculum at Knowl Hill Primary School
- In 1986 I designed fabric for the top floor of Charles Rennie Mackintosh's
Hill House, in Hellensburgh, Glasgow. Hill House was originally built
for the Blackie publishing family and is now managed by the Scottish
National Trust
- From 1987 to 1989 I did freelance illustration work for the Theatre
Centre (Theatre in Education), in Islington, London
- During 1990 and 1991 I taught art to small groups of visually impaired
students
- In 1992 I was featured in a film, "Behind the Eye". This was made
by Front Room Films for the Arts Council and shown on Channel 4
- In 1993, with the aid of an assistant, I designed and painted the
ceiling and shutters of the Castle of Park, in Dumfries and Galloway
- In 1994 I designed fabric for Rudyard Kipling's house, in Battleboro,
Vermont, USA
- In 1996 some of my lino prints were published in an Anthology of Women's
Poetry and Images - "Her Mind's Eye" - published by Pyramid
Press
- In 2000 I began learning Qigong and Tai Chi
- Between 2005 and 2007 I completed a 3 year Qigong practitioners course
with the Chinese Internal Arts Association
- In 2008 I began teaching Qigong and Tai Chi
