Welcome to artandcraftsite.co.uk

This site is provided to enable artists and craftspeople - be they one-person bands or small companies - to display their work on the internet, but without having to invest in buying a Domain Name or paying for Webhosting services before they can get a feel of whether an internet presence is going to be of any benefit to them.

This site is maintained by Vicky Barrett, one of the partners in W-Squared, a professional partnership which designs and builds websites and bespoke software applications (you can read more about W-Squared at our main website www.w-squared.co.uk).

The way it works is simple; all you need to do if you are interested is to contact Vicky either by clicking here to email her or telephoning 01646 622906, and have a chat about how many pages you need, how many images you want to put on show etc. etc. You will receive a very competitive quote for building your web pages and an estimate of how long it will be before your work will be displayed on artandcraftsite.co.uk. You will then be able to promote the fact that examples of your work can be viewed online at www.artandcraftsite.co.uk/thenameyouchoose.

You can continue displaying your work on the site for as long as you wish, and request updates at any time (at the same very competitive rates). If you wish to remove your work from the site at any time and launch your web pages under your own Domain Name they will be provided to you on request in their entirety on a disk - you do not have to start again from scratch unless you choose to do so.

You can click this link to visit the website of Jennifer Maskell-Packer, an artist who has used artandcraftsite.co.uk to display her work for a number of years now.

Needless to say, as professional web builders W-Squared are interested to hear from you whether you want to use artandcraftsite.co.uk or to start out with your own Domain Name and webspace - from our main site you can see an example of a website we built for an artist and art teacher, Sue Lewis-Blake, to display her work and advertise her studio facilities, the courses she offers, and her regular exhibitions and events.

Either way, we are always pleased to hear from you and give you a no-strings-attached quotation.
